Siren question

Featured Replies

The game is on the way to my house...so imma play it in a few days. One question in advance, is there a way to have a different key for each different siren?

Thanks :D

If you use ELS, you can assign a key so that you press it once it will change to the next siren mode, then you can press it again for the next etc. It will not change back to the default by itself so if you wanted you could have a single siren of your choice play for 10 minutes.

Unfortuanatley though the vehicles will not move out of your way if you use that key. Only if you use the key for the horn in GTA normally.

I get the feeling that I may have just confused things even more, but i hope not :)

I don't understand what you mean, but I'll try to give an answer from what I think you mean. I know that ELS lets you set the siren to "yelp" or as "full" or something along those lines, but aside from that, I don't think you can assign more than one siren to a vehicle.

I think what he means is so that he can set "Num1" to yelp "num2" to Hi-Lo and "num3" to phazer......

No, you cannot assign a siren to a single key, if you mean like for eg. J as wail, K as yelp, L as phaser, then no, you cannot, you can only use the default type the game uses or change it with the ELS "G" key, it will cycle through wail, yelp and then phaser.

Thats what I mean, but in some LCPDFR videos I saw someone doing the siren like this -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3B54XXFwuU -- look at the siren "man" at 30 seconds. How would you be able to do that if everytime you hit the siren it switches sirens? Get what Im saying? Thank

Can you explain how I would do "man" from that video in LCPDFR? Im kinda confused

Right say you assign "F" as your manual key.

  1. You press F to turn on the siren. You can hear the normal Wail siren.
  2. Now you press and release the F key again, you can hear the Yelp. Normally once you let go off the horn button it would go back to wail, but now it will stay on the yelp for as long as you want.
  3. Now you press F again, you can now hear the Priority siren.

usually to get the yelp or priority siren you have to hold the horn key in. Once you let go the siren will switch back to the wail. With the ELS key, the siren will stay on the yelp or priority until you hit it again.
