You're Title is a little..........Mis leading, Anywho, Are you running the installer as admin?

Your GTA Directorys are read only. Open up the folder properties and change them. When completed the properties should look like below....

1. Go Here: C:Program FilesRockstar Games
   
2. There should be a folder named "Grand theft auto IV"
   
3. Right Click it, select properties
   
4. Make it look like the picture above
   
5. Re-run installer as admin
   

there is no rockstar games

Where is your GTA directory installed to ?

Also try this instead: C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar Games

basically the patch witch u download from the 0.95 First Response is not working on my machine so i need a better patch because the First Response is not recognising GTA IV

No, don't do that. I said to just uncheck read-only.

does GTA 4 work on a 32 bit processor because it says Single Core CPU's Not Supported.

What are your system specs?

2.40 GHz

Pentium® 4 CPU

What graphics card do you have? How much RAM?
