Exporting problem

Featured Replies

So I wanted to change the wheels on dhruv's f250 and I chose to use DSF f350 wheels. I didn't touch the collisions or dummies, I basically just swapped out the wheelmesh_lf. Car looks fine in zmodeler, but it's like 20ft from the truck in openiv and ingame:

Any idea what could be causing this problem?

Did you move your vehicle's chassis and vehiclename.wft dummies accidentally?

I've had that same problem, and, in my case anyways, it was because those 2 dummies had been moved accidentally.

To fix it, I just moved the dummies back to the exact center of the axis, so it appeared in the center, in every view in zModeler (Left, right, top, etc.)

Edit: Tried to edit this in earlier, but, keep in mind, the solution above is what fixed it for me, in that case.

There may be another problem/ solution then the one above. All I can suggest is try what I said above, and if it doesn't work, then you know it isn't the chassis and vehiclename.wft dummies.

Happy Modding!

It is most likely a problem with the wheel model's offset and orientation. I don't think it has to do with the chassis and vehiclename.wft dummies.

Enable "Keep Object" and center the offset of the wheel to itself (Center to Object). Then, reset the wheelmesh's offset and orientation to the parent. Make sure you have the "Keep Object" option disabled for this part.

Could that be the problem if you put a lightbar on the car and everything looks good in zmod and you get in game and the car is jumping?

I'm happy that I helped!

I guess I've just had a lot of practice, and I've experienced a lot of different scenarios with car modding.
