My LCPDFR and GTA IV work perfectly fine with minimal lag on low settings of course. But the issue I have is that when i go to take an in game screenshot using the print screen from my computer and go to paste it into paint it shows up as a black or white picture with nothing else on it..... I want to try to avoid using Fraps because of how much it lags the game from what i hear.... any suggestions?

Fraps Shouldn't Lag the game if you have the FPS monitor or Recording module off, If you have just The screen shot feature turned on, It shouldn't lag, But of course, It all depends on your system.

I actually went and tried it out just using the snapshot feature and it didnt lag my game.... any more than usual at least. now if i use the video recorder im sure it will right?

It may or may not, Depending on if your system can handle it.

Video recording will lag your system depending on how hard the game is to render. Turning down the details will minimize the lag effect. As far as simple FPS monitoring goes: No, there shouldn't be any lag issues with it. It takes up mere megabytes of memory to record and display something like that.

I guess taking a screenshot really won't lag your game, processing that takes less than a second.

i was using the free version of the fraps thing with the 30 second long video and didnt have any extra lag.... i also have all of my settings to low because my computer is... well a different story. but i guess ill just have to make videos and stuff using it in low quality and buy the full version
