Hello modders,

 

I come to you with what I think may be a complex, but great mod.  It is making the regularly AI controlled spotlight on the Police Maverick controllable by the player or a spotlight which is viewable by yourself (the controller) and other people in a multiplayer session and does not rely on view distance to be up all the way to see.  There is another spotlight mod available for download which does not show on other players' screens when in multiplayer,  which makes it nearly useless in multiplayer.  I think it would be a good tool for clans and communities that do complex roleplay and scenarios such as spotting pursuits for ground units and such.  Currently the flashlight/spotlight mod is listed as "open source" by the developer, so if any of you took this up you could reference his work and possibly build off of it.  I thank you for your time and consideration.
