If it is DROT enabled (looks like it is) then you need this in the VCF:

[ PRML ]
Type = drot

It also needs to be in a vehicle slot that has rotating lights in the original game (police, police2); not LED type lights (noose, FBI, PolPatriot)

The rest is the same as anything else.

It seems that I have 2 problems:

1st. When I exit the vehicle, the rotors stop moving, but the lights are still on.

2nd. The ELS light pattern that you helped me save the other day (https://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/39684-els-8-saving-a-light-pattern-for-a-certain-vehicle/#entry283782) no longer works with this active. I wanted LED's for the body's lights, and the lightbar to be rotor.

You know how to fix this.

I will make a video sometime tonight (10/28/14) to better explain if you don't understand.

1. Common problem...some people have said that holding W as you exit the car fixes that.

2. Since it's using the DROT type of PRML now, the patterns are different for the PRML section. DROT uses extra 1 for the lightbar and the other 3 are for other lights on the vehicle. You'll have to look through the different DROT patterns in game to find the one you want. The WRNL and SECL sections should be fine.

I'm not sure why that would be.

Okay. I'm going to download an ELS 8 rotor vehicle and see if I can take a look at its roots and .ini file.

You set the ELS rotors like you would for normal Non-Els BUT,  you move the dummies down on the Y axis (under the car) alot. Even with ELS -8 the corona's will still spawn so the makes sure the they 'spawn out of the way'.

if your replying to me Please @0taku or Quote me so I get a notification
