A good tutorial that explains how to install the mod

Featured Replies

Hello, I would like to get a good tutorial that explains how to install the mod, and get the correct version of the game.

I am using GTA IV - Steam version.

Thanks in advance (tried to use the razor crack, but my norton antivirus detects it as a Trojan.Gen.2).

Commets such as "Use google" are not welcomed.

Could someone link the manual please?

That would be great!

As I am also starting from scratch. Just downloaded GTA 4 from Steam and I have all the needed mod files but not sure how to start.

Thanks

If you can see the green notice at the top of the page, that's the reason.

Oh well then, seems like I will have to wait. Don't lock it yet :p.

A genuine, working Microsoft Windows (PC) platform copy of Grand Theft Auto IV or Grand Theft Auto: Episodesfrom Liberty City, updated to the latest version (1.0.7.0 for GTA IV, 1.1.2.0 for EFLC)

I got the steam version of GTA IV, how do I check my version?

Sorry for triple posting, but I am trying to install this mod alot of time.

I have tried to install the LCPDFR Firt Response mod twice, first time manually but the mod didn't appear when lanuching the game, so I have uninstalled it and installed it auto, using the auto installer, but the mod STILL doesn't appear, and I have GTA IV version 1.7.0

State what solutions you have tried and if you have read the manual. Do not bump your threads.

I  can't find any solution in the manual. I have tried to install it manually, it didn't work, then I tried to install it with the auto installer, and it didn't work.

What exactly does not work?

The mod, I start the game, and it just gets me to the normal GTA IV, there aren't any signs of the mod at all, but the mod appears on the root directory of GTA IV. (I have a clean GTA IV, I have only completed the first mission).

You have to press Alt-P to start the mod after completing at least the first mission.

Thanks!

Now, I got another problem, when I get a call out, it says "crime scene cleared" after 5 seconds. How to fix it? By the way, how do I report on the radio that I am responding to a call out?

You need to press Y to accept the callout when you get it. You need to press Alt+E to report your current status, if I remember correctly. All is outlined in the manual :)
