No need to give out codes when the link is right there. Also, requests goes into the requests forum.

Maybe they'll want my SS number too. And it's not just a simple press it. You have to follow them on Twitter, Like on FB, and input email address.

No, a lot of  sites give them away for smaller games. The dev will give certain sites so many keys, or the site will buy so many keys, and they'll have random giveaways. Although, like I said, they are requiring an ass load of stuff to DL it. Don't have a twitter, and am not going to create one just to get a free game.
