Is This A Good Graphics Card?

Featured Replies

So for Christmas i want to get a new graphics card. I have come across a Nvidia GTX 750 TI, and i wanted to ask the really high PC tech people if its a good card for the price. Also if it is a good card please let me know how well it would operate on games. Thank you. (My PSU is 300 watts)

Just a heads up, if you're meeting the minimum requirements of your PSU with your GPU, I suggest an upgrade. I was once running a GTX 650TI using a 400 watt PSU (the minimum), and my computer would shut itself off if I was drawing too much power. I now have a 520 watt and I haven't had an issue since.

Thanks guys! I'll be sure to upgrade my PSU if i need too! :)

That's the best card you can get from Nvidia with a 300 watt power supply. Anything better will require a PSU upgrade.

Can you guys help me find a good wattage PSU for around $40-$100?

I don't know much about PSU's but this one seems like a good deal: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182264

The 10% off promo will bring it below $100 if the code (RMNEXSAVE10) works. Of course, you'll want to make sure it will work with your computer's setup (size, required connectors, etc).
