Looking for Jacksonville Sheriff Office Cars

Featured Replies

Hello everyone I'm looking for some cars from my local sheriff's office. They mainly have Impalas now they stopped using the vic around 2007 but I would love to have any vehicles that are JSO. I know there are a few skins out there but they just aren't perfect for instance some of the cvpi skins have it to where the panel on the trunk lid is white when it's supposed to be black that really bothers me idk why lol I guess it's because I see their cars all the time and anything slightly off bothers me sorry for being so picky lol. Anyways, here is some photos of what they look like any assistance would be appreciated, thanks!

I would prefer it to be for an Impala or a CVPI (they have some CVPI's but not many) because, they have one Taurus and a Caprice as test vehicles because, the department is trying to determine if they want to go with the Caprice or Taurus as their next gen police car. How easy would it be to modify that to fit another because that is a good skin but it has a few flaws for instance the unit number is 1014 in the stripe yet on the roof it says 738 it should say 1014 on the roof and below the word police on the trunk lid also. Sorry for being so picky lol. I know there is an Impala skin out there instead of a unit number it has the word patrol written where the unit number should be but it fits Cj24's Impala and that car is set up just like a majority of the Impala's used here so it's a great model to use if the skin could be adjusted and once again sorry for being so picky about it.

Do you have a link to the model?  I can try it out if you like.  If it's accuracy you're shooting for, no one is more picky than I am about accuracy lol.  But Dobbiej offered first, so I will stay in the background and monitor this.

If you have it post the graphic thats on the doors. If the creator has that graphic thats a skin that can be made in about 20 minutes. Also you don't really want to take skins from other cars and tweak/rotate/skew because it just distorts the overall quality leading to a blurry skin in game. Always make new skins for each car - thats just my advice

Awesome!  So, it looks like the cars actually have the name of the officer(deputy?) on them.  What unit number(s) and officer(deputy?) name(s) would you like?  Up to 4.  This looks like fun, I'll give it a try.

Yeah, the cars have the officers name above the unit number on the driver side unless it is a unit with two officers than it has one officers name on the driver side and the partners name on the passenger side and if it's a K-9 the dogs name is on the back door in cursive. This is how they write the name: first two initials and then last name for instance if it was my name it would say T.L. Carroll (btw put my name on one lol) the other names it doesn't really matter you can put whatever you want and the unit numbers just anything that has 3 to 4 digits thanks man I can't wait to see them!

Do they have K-9 Impalas in your department?  Or are only Tahoes K-9?

I'm pretty sure it's just tahoe's and the few Crown Vic's they have that are used as K-9 units

Here is what the skin looks like.  Your personalized unit is in front with "T.L. Carroll" as the name, unit# 8214, and license-plate# 080214, to commemorate the date you joined LCPDFR.com.  Two other units in there are actual unit#'s and officers taken from images.  The remaining unit is fictional.  All license-plate numbers are fictional.  Two units have the "JoinJSO.com" bumper sticker.  I wasn't able to find any clear pictures of the roof, so I guessed at the font from several partial images.

Please let me know what you think =)

P.S. Just to let you know, I might be releasing this as a pack in the future.  Your personalized skin, of course, will not be in the release.

// Edit: I know the trunk text doesn't look big enough. That was a picture while I was still making final tweaks.  It's correct in the pack.
