G27 Vibration noise problem

Featured Replies

Just recently got myself a G27. So far, it's been working pretty well, except for the vibration. When it vibrates, there's a lot of rattling and grinding that doesn't sound normal. I thought it was from the table it was sitting on but that wasn't it. I bought it from a guy who had it for three months and only used it a few times, so it's still in good shape. What can I do? Is there a fix for this? Here is a video of it occurring in ETS2 to give you a better idea of what it sounds like.

Since you were stopped and the truck looked to be off, ETS was making it very hard to turn the steering wheel because there would be no power steering in the truck. It was giving as much resistance as possible, causing it to make those sounds. If it does it while you're driving then turn down the force feedback settings, specifically the one for the engine since that causes a lot of feedback (assuming they haven't changed the settings in recent updates, I haven't checked), and isn't realistic in my opinion.

It was off at first, then I turned it on and it still did it. I even tried driving before I recorded and it was still doing it to an extent
