Hi,

I am new to LCPDFR and Im having a little trouble. I have the 0.95 version and when I try to pull over a vehicle sometimes they take off so that starts a chase. Thats not my problem, my problem is when I try to use the pursuit keys, nothing happens. Nothing shows up on the screen and no other police vehicles join the pursuit. Alt+B works, but they don't join the pursuit.

I really love this game, being a teenager, so any advice will help.

Your not the first one that have this problem.

There are already a few topics about this but there's nowhere a solution. (Not that I know)

This is a problem that PursuitStart script won't load.

After this your whole LCPDFR will stop working include all other scripts of LCPDFR.

You can try to reload it by

->press ctrl+del

->open console

-> type "reloadscripts"

-> hit enter

All your scripts will reload now.

First of all, Back up on it's way doesn't always show on screen as text. Also when in a pursuit, (in car) you use the F keys. F10 for helicopter F11 for Noose back up and F12 for regular police back up. The Alt keys are used when on foot and not in car. Alt B = police back up. Alt N = noose, Alt V = helicopter.

Ya, I tried and when I first installed 0.95 it work but after a couple of days it stopped. I do use the F keys to try to call for support and it still does not work. Its really not a big deal, but I would have liked for it to, but i understand issues happen.

Are you sure it doesn't work?

If you aren't using the normal patrolman character model then there won't be voice clips for making the requests. And they don't appear instantly, they take time. The best way to test is attempt to call in a chopper (maybe press it a few times) and if no choppers come in the next couple of minutes then you've definitely got a problem.

Doesn't work for me.

After I got a pursuit start, the red arrow appears but nothing will work anymore.

Even when the pursuit ends (person is dead). I don't get any calls or even alt+F11 wont work.

The police computer is back to normal.

Only one thing keeps working, I never get stars and police never pursuits me, so...

Any idea?

Hey guys, thanks for all the help and support! I fixed the problem. What I did was I Updated GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 and ran a diagnostic report and found that I was missing the GTA IV ASI LOADER. I installed that and played the game and LCPDFR mod today for a few hours and everything seemed to be working perfectly and the F pursuit keys were working also!

Where did you download the diagnostics tool? (because when i want to download the diagnostics tool from this site, i got a error when going to the link)

And did you use as ASI loader the dsound.dll and scripthook.dll? or Xliveless ?

I've the same problem like SsgtHaskins. It also says I'm missing ASI loader.

So i did the same thing and every thing worked fine thanks.

1. I have an even bigger problem - i install lcpdfr, but when i press Alt+P, nothing happens. anyone know what to do? do you need an asi loader?

Yes you need an ASI loader.

Run diagnostics tool to see what you didn't install.
