Quick question. If I were to release someone else's model that I added lightbar(s), rambar(s), etc, that I put proper credits in with intent to release, would I leave the model unlocked or should I lock it?

I think if you would like people to not use YOUR specific model, the one with the lightbars, rambars, etc, on it, then I think you are entitled to lock it. BUT DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS! I haven't done any modeling with unlocked models, so, yeah... But anyway, have a nice day, good sir!

Depends on what parts you use, some authors require the model to be locked before it can be uploaded.
