Game crashing randomly and when joning a pursuit

Featured Replies

The title says it all, I don't use any mods other than LCPDFR.

It crashes after some time when I accept a pursuit.

And it also crashes randomly from times to times.

Yæs. Hello?

Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR.

You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them.

Please do the following:

  • Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks
  • Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues
  • Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: .Net Framework 4.5Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012

If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post.

If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following:

You'll need to provide even further information, as stated in my post :)

Oh, I'm sorry. The thing is its very random, sometimes my games crashes when i enter a circle on the map that lcpdfr have made, lcpdfr crashed here today when I have asked someone to step out of their car. My game have also crashed while I just have been driving around.

My guess is when I send information to ur servers about stats, for example EVERY time I join a pursuit it crashes, most of the time when I arrest someone, it crahes. But I'm not sure.

Anything else u need to know? I really don't have much to say about it, Because it just crash.

I dont play a crack, I bought it on steam.

I'm pretty sure I have updated, not sure if it worked when I tried.

And I don't know how to run the game as adminstrator, I run the luancher as adminstrator, but I'm not sure if it runs the game as admin aslwell.

I don't think that the "read-only" is a problem, my user got full permissions.

I got Xlive, scripthook and scriothookdotnet.

I godt LCPDFR.

I use the latest versions of LCPDFR.

Net frame, and visual c++ is no prob, Windows update it itself and I have, just to make sure, downloaded it from the following link u have sent and it just say that I got the current or a newer version of it on my computer.

[WARNING - 9:17:09 PM] [AudioDatabase] GetAudioFileForAction: No file found for: PLUMBBOB_AVE

[WARNING - 9:17:09 PM] [AudioDatabase] GetAudioFileForAction: No file found for: PLUMBBOB_AVE

That means there's no file available it shouldn't cause any problems
