Hello. Recently I got problems with GTA 4, and I reinstalled it.

Now, i get the WS10 Fatal error.

 

It apparently have something to do with GFWL, and i reinstalled that too, and it says something about

 

"The Client must point to the same Windows Live ID environment as the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant Service"

The heck?

 

I got no logs and such, and i really want to play GTA IV again.

 

It is a legal copy, no mods, 1.0.7.0, CD, completely vanilla.

No Xlive, GFWL Un-and Reinstalled, fresh copy of GTA IV.

Now it wont unistall because

Failed to release SecuROM license.

Yep. It's GTA IV.

When i start the repair program it just gets a seuizure and sounds like a chainsaw.

I don't know if it will work.

GFWL does exist. I don't get why people keep saying that it is gone.

Vic: You'll need to contact the Rockstar support about this, I've done pretty much all I can.

No. 

 

GFWL does still exist.

 

There was rumors last year that it would be taken down spring/early summer 2014.

It is still alive.

 

 

Google GFWL Shutdown and the top result is a Microsoft link saying it will still be up.

Most games is still using GFWL and such, and the GFWL games servers is probably phasing out and replaced with SteamWork servers.

I bet they'll have it down late 2018.

On a separate note, I looked up the Rockstar Support, and i found a thing that deletes the secuROM things, and if it works, i may be able to reinstall.

 

EDIT: I do not think i should do that. I'll get contact to R* support.

edit2: Rockstar haven't made a good reply yet. Just linking me to different things i already have tried.
