Memory stuff

Featured Replies

I saw Sam talking about memory hooking in LCPDFR discussion. What is this? Can anyone link me to a primer? (I know some C++, but not a ton)

There's not a lot of documentation on memory hooking; and for good reason.

You're editing memory at a low-level, changes you make involve using C++ to re-write application code and data whilst it's running, and this can sometimes involve writing code changes in ASM (assmebler, extremely low-level).

I have some resources lying around, I'll try and find them and get back to you.
