In that case, that's not actually related to what anyone else means when talking about submarines in a naval context. Novelty tourism submarines in an indoor lake at a mall look like this:

is not actually what anyone ever means when talking about submarines in a naval context, which is more along the lines of this (in this case, HMCS Windsor):
