Ok, this happened twice (both times it was a van, havent checked with other cars). I go on duty as a officer and I bring a partner with me. I tell a car to pull over but it wont so I have to chase it, then I asked for backup (F11) and like after 3 seconds it crashes. I start the game over again with a partner again and I did the same and it crashes.

3. Are you using car mods and/or els?

And there is also a txt file named LCPDFR, it looks like a log file too but its too long so I will upload it instead.

EDIT: Yeah I thought so, tried to put it in same post, it told me its too long after 2 min, and I tried in another post, 2 minutes more ,but now it should work. I dunno it its the right one.

Yes, im using car mods, I have installed this mod without crashin but havent used it before yesterday. Its not police ot police2, they work fine. Im gonna find out the name of the mod

Try playing with default cars WITHOUT els.

That would be an alternative, but I dont like the default ones because they dont support ELS, but I found another trooper I like better, Ill try to use it, if it crashes game I will try to use the modded police/police2, if that wont work, ill use the default one until I a solve.

Okay I think this is the age old ELS and LCPDFR issue. See, the two mods don't know how to work with eachother in-game, so when LCPDFR tries to turn on lights for backup units, it doesn't work right and the game crashes. If you want to use ELS, then try what I do: leave police and police2 as non-ELS, so you can still call some kind of backup, but you can have the other cars as ELS. i.e. only my fbi, noose, and polpatriot are ELS enabled.

Yes even i had this problem before.. but what i did was that i reinstalled LCPDFR 0.95RC1 Twice and then it stopped; it still occurs but once in a while (I dont use ELS)

thats a good idea gnat..ELS has that tendency to knock out the game. :wallbash:

Are the mod developers working on a solution to make the 2 mods work together more efficiently?
