Hello LCPDFR Community.

 

Just wondering it anyone has a favored Mod developer within the Community and would like to give em a shout out.Starting things off mine by far is Double Doppler.Thanks to this guy i can live out my dream of being a Met Police officer from the other side of the pond.

 

Your favored developer can not be yourself.

It's extremely hard to narrow down the most experienced, dedicated and proffesional developer out there that would be classed as my favorite. Instead, anyone who is passionate about his/her work in the modding scene and remains at a respectful level without pushing other down, but instead helping others out; That is my favorite kind of modder. 

 

There are several that fit in on that list, and I am glad to call some of them my friends. It's not easy to state how important modding is for this and other communites really. I'm not a known user of mods, so that has gotta mean something coming from me :P More seriously though, it'll be interesting to see which modders/developers are mentioned.

That is a very good point.So much amazing work out for gta. Including the reason we are all on this site. Sam and the creators of LCPDFR

I think the shout out should go to all the modders and the hard work and amazing mods they make and that includes the new modders. everyone puts a lot of time and hard work into their mods. all of them should have a week of tribute to the modders .

This is an impossible question, as all of them are equally my favorite. I could never pick between all of them as each of us are unique and creative with what we make. Not all of them may be perfect to you but it sure may seem perfect to the creator or others!

Same with music. We all like different genres, different musicians, it's relative. He's asking us who our favourite modder is, as an opinion.

 

With car modding, I would go with Cj24. I've always been a fan of his models and I credit him for making both ELS and Non-ELS models. His mods are very high quality with very easy to use templates. He's a very professional guy, and really easy to talk to. As far as I've seen, he gives his opinions on the forums, without putting others down. He's number one in my books.

Honestly I think its unfair to single one person out like this.  The great thing about modding and this site is that there's collaboration.  You might point to Person X being the best modder or whatever, but then perhaps Person X didn't care about modding until Person Y got him or her into it.  Similarly, you might point to Mod X being a fantastic mod, but Mod X might consist largely of bits of Mod Y and Mod Z.

 

Perhaps it would be more fitting to recognise people for their contributions to the community instead, and in that case, I think there's one person that stands above the rest - Lt.Caine.

 

I can guarantee you that without his contributions (and a lot of these many of you won't even know of as they were largely behind-the-scenes), modding in the large and open form as we know it on LCPDFR simply would not exist.  It's a real shame because most people know Caine for his mods, largely ELS, and they only really tell half of the story.

If you had asked me two years ago i'd name one. But in time i got to know some of the ''dark'' sides of modding.

that said i won't really name one.
