Pursuit Crashing

Featured Replies

Hello, allow me to say first that I'm getting "Error 500" from LCPDFR.com and it's not letting me post my LCPDFR log for some reason. But I was able to post my other logs.

So the problem is that every time a pursuit happens, my game crashes. Sometimes it crashes when a pursuit happens that I'm not even involved in. But when I do become involved, it's usually right as the driver steps out of the vehicle that my game crashes. I have tried playing LCPDFR stock, meaning no other mods, no other vehicles etc. besides the LCPDFR mod itself. I'm running LCPDFR 1.0c and I did the manual install.

Mods I use :

Savior ENB

LCPDFR 1.0c

ELS 8

vpcallouts

Whelen 295HFSA6 Siren

Only 1 vehicle mod (Liberty City State Police CVPI, just released a couple days ago, but have tried many others believing it could be the vehicles causing a crash, with no luck)

If anyone knows why I'm not able to post my LCPDFR log, please let me know so that I can...

Not to sure why you're unable to upload the LCPDFR.log, but we need that and the ScriptHookDotNet log as well.

Can you post them the here as a reply using spoilers please. We can't do much without them.

I'm not sure how to "Use spoilers", but I was thankfully able to get both the scripthook and LCPDFR log files working.

Ok so I'm seeing a few crash issues in your LCPDFR.log file. A couple related to Callouts+ which I can tell you in advance those have been fixed for the next version. But I'm seeing one which crashes and isn't due to my script.

So my advice would be to uninstall your other script mods, and see if the crash issue persists. If it doesn't we'll know it was one of the script mods so you can start installing each one and trying it. If it does still crash let me know.

Well I got rid of callouts+ and vpcallouts. Same problem though, was about to have a driver step out just as a pursuit started....Crash.

Even got rid of the ENB...

And here I tried the game mostly vanilla. (only mods are LCPDFR and trainer).

Right, there is no crash being recorded in either the LCPDFR.log or the ScriptHookDotNet log which means it isn't likely to be an issue with LCPDFR itself. I would recommend start fresh with a clean install of GTA IV and then only install LCPDFR 1.0c and see if that fixes the issue.

Actually I went ahead and got rid of the trainer... That fixed the crashing. Thank you for helping me through this, I'll go ahead and select "Answered" on your comment. Can't wait for the new Callouts+!!!!
