If anyone could replicate Maryland State Police's CVPI that would be amazing. I really like their lightbar, how it is colored instead of clear, and the fact that they don't load down their cars with more lights than a Christmas tree. I'd like it to be as accurate as possible. I have already made the texture for other models, I just need this model and a template to convert my texture onto.  Thank you to anyone willing to undertake the task.

Just a lightbar and wigwags? Way to stay on a budget Maryland  . That surprises me be because usually Highway Patrol or State Trooper cars are loaded with lights. If I knew what lightbar it is and if its unlocked I could do it.

Why don't you just find a car that looks the way you want it to and you just change the light textures yourself. If you need help just PM me if you have questions on how to change the outside texture of the lights on the lightbar. Or use this...http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/texturing-tips-and-tutorials/how-to-change-els-lightbar-colors-r20

I would but I haven't seen any model that matches. I've only seen one model with the CB antenna mounted on the driver side rear quarter panel but it also had the wrong lights and a wrap around bullbar. That link you gave, does that change the color of the outside casing or is that just for the lights inside? It doesn't look right if the lights inside are colored but the outside casing is still clear.

iiKonrad: I'm not sure what lightbar it is or if anyone has made this type.

the cvpi in this pack is close and i think you can color the glass

The colour of lightbar glass is typically mapped to the emerglights.png, if the glass is clear, you typically see a grey/white/see through area on the file. Just make sure that when you paint over it, you lower the opacity, otherwise you will have solid glass that can't be seen through.

Yeah...that teaches you how to color the outside glass of the light bar. I also think the lightbar is a whelen liberty with colored lenses

Yep. When you are changing the opacity you lower it to about 50....that way the light from the lightbar can go through the glass and you can still see the color of the lightbar.

Well I appreciate the suggestions and I will do this in the meantime but I would still like this particular layout modeled if someone has the time and know how.
