Hey

 

Today I put an FS Twinsonic lightbar on my car, along with a dashlight. I attached the dashlight extras to the lightbar. It appears and everything in-game, and in my ELS Config, drot is under PRIMARY. In Zmodeler, it has only extras 1 and 4.

I'm fairly certain that lightbar isn't set up to use the rotating function of ELS V8. 

that lightbar is not setup for els 8 if i'm not wrong. you'll have to edit it alot in Zmod to make it rotate

Check the ELSV8 User's guide, i have read it before and i didn't see that (drot) value anywhere.

That lightbar is not setup for ELS 8. it just won't work unless you edit it in Zmod.

That is correct, and also, i have just give it a view on Zmod and i can see that the lightbar in question doesn't have rotators, so it's not assembled to rotate. You can use another ELS-H lightbar (for DEV) like the streethawk etc. Here's a link with a list of unlocked parts:

In the OP's case, yes, ROTA is what should've been used since the lightbar is not setup to rotate with DROT.  ROTA is the equivalent of ELS-H in previous ELS versions.  If you have a car that's set up for ELS-H in ELSv6, for example, you use ROTA.
