Now, I know some of these ARE hard to do!

But, if LCPDFR included 90% of the following items, I would honestly donate over $100 for it...

1) Car crash calls. Both severe crashes, and little fender benders.

2) Fire, and EMS backup calls. (Mostly for the car crashes, but also for down civilians)

3) Downed civilians either run over by a car, or just having them drop to the ground as if simulating a heart attack.

4) Road blocking? (Probably one of those "hard to do things."

5) Better AI drivers (criminals and cops)

6) Better ambulance drivers BY FAR!

7) Being backup for an officer in need of assistance

8) Responding to a car fire, and being able to call for fire truck.

Calling for EMS and Fire, and being able to respond to car crashes, would really make me the most happy though, if you guys think I am asking too much, those two would really rock my boat.

2) Fire, and EMS backup calls. (Mostly for the car crashes, but also for down civilians) EMS - yes, Fire - no (unless they don't have to do anything).

- Cars pull over farther We try - one technique you can use is to activate your sirens (press G) then turn them off, once they start to move again, press shift - should make them pull over further

- More options in a traffic stop... ALOT more...We cant add any more than 3 reasons simply because there are only 3 reasons in the games audio, searching the trunk will be implemented though.

- Cars move out the the way more effectively to sirens

They dont have to do anything, as long as they arrive, and stay there, to make it look realistic

PS: When I respond to a shooting call, nothing is there... every time, am I doing something wrong?

We have some plans for the shooting call. Maybe one time it'll be a prank, another it might be some lunatic with a shotgun, another it might be a gang shooting with multiple perps.

Also, would it be possible to make the AI cops a little less hostile? I pull a suspect out of his car to arrest him, and they shoot him to death!

I seem to also remember you guys saying you are working on the AI cars actually going AROUND the cops and not going INTO them? That would be good too :rolleyes:

What you mean is you could, but the AI are that hostile that if you tried, they'd shread you up? ;D

:rolleyes: That's why its so hard to dev for GTA IV as the AI constantly throw RPGs in your face with pinpoint accuracy.

Yeah, I agree that these are some fantastic ideas!

I've been waiting for car accident calls ever since i started using FR.. very exciting stuff. Like the original post mentioned there could be fender benders as well as fatal car accidents. The fender benders could have 2 cars with minor damage (I'm not sure if you could make it consistent or not (i.e. dent in the back of the first car and in the front of the second car, etc) or if it's just random. The cars would both be pulled over to the side of the road and you would have to park your patrol car up behind them. Traffic should be directed around the entire scene. Maybe, to you developers, you could have the officer need to go to each individual and use the clip board animation used for citations to take a report from each. Maybe with a possible witness standing there to to take a report from.

For fatal accidents most would obviously be at large intersections or on the highway. You could have 2-3 vehicles involved with heavy damage. The drivers should either be unconscious/dead in the driver seat or possibly lying in the road if they weren't wearing their seatbelt. EMS should automatically be dispatched. (Hopefully the ambulance drives civily and doesn't cause more damage (damn AI driving!)) Also in most cases in real life fire units are dispatched to help protect the scene from traffic, and for rescue purposes. In the case of the game we could dispatch a fire truck or two for show.

It's a lot, I know, but I'm just thinking through the actual scenarios. It would be a huge milestone for the whole modification in my opinion.

If that could be implemented, the mod will be almost perfect.

And just continuing on, I know this may be impossible, but say there is a large accident covering all the lanes going 1 way, could you make it so that cars avoid driving there all together, as if an invisible roadblock is stopping them?

In the recent 0.90F patch, the cops are behaving way aggressive, shooting on sight non-compliant suspects.
