I was trying to figure out how to make the Police Lights/Headlights brighter but still realistic in CryENB v1 and v2 and ELS V8...if anyone can guide me on where or walk me through how to do it and have any recommended settings it would be much appreciated,

Open visualSettings.dat and find this:

#config values for vehicle settings

car.headlight.angle -0.20

# car.headlight.color 1.00 1.00 0.80

car.headlight.color.red 1.00

car.headlight.color.green 1.00

car.headlight.color.blue 0.80

car.headlight.intensity 2.00 <--changes headlight shine. changed from 3 to 2. The higher the brighter i believe

car.headlight.falloffMax 20.00

car.headlight.innerConeAngle 20.00

car.headlight.outerConeAngle 40.00

 

 

It helped me. Hopefully it helps you.

Go to the bottom of VisualSettings to

misc.BloomIntensityClamp.HD    8.00        

misc.BloomIntensityClamp.SD    8.00        

misc.BloomIntensityClamp.SD.ps3    8.00  

 

and mess with those. They really helped put a glow around my ELS LEDS.

 

Edit: Good thing about it is you can always change it back :)
