With out siren ?

Correct. It's at the very bottom of the INI.

With out siren ?

CORRECTION: It's at the bottom of the configuration file that goes directly in the main GTA directory.

if you find the "/" not the best of methods, there is a siren mute mod somewhere out there. Not sure if this works for non-els though. Worth a shot, eh?

I don't think it would. I do understand the idea though. Current versions of ELS are capable of utilizing 4 siren tones, where as non-els utilizes 3. Even if we could use the fourth with a non-els car, we would either have to hold down the siren button to turn the siren off, or hold the button to have the siren on.

The mod I'm referring to doesn't replace or add a tone to the original siren, it merely mutes it.
