Featured Replies

So I got this error message after trying to export, ebbd995d9f02afd74fbd9c15f2a8947d.png

When I put the wft in Open IV it looks like this fbed432e888df686704fe0961857688e.png

Im guessing this is cause of the dulicate. I dont know where to find it, I've renamed alot of extras, and dont see any more. Is there away I can like specifically go to it? Any support pl0x.

Main problem resolved, can someone give me a video, or step by step easy tutorial on how to attach extras?

Well I fixed the extra problem, but I need help attaching my lightbar and dashlight. In game my dashlight is a steadyburn, even with ELS off - Though the lightbar works properly. Halp?

Extra 1 through 9 shouldn't be steadyburns. It seems like you've misspelled a lot of things.

You have to make it like this.

[-]extra_1

    extra_1_L0

    extra_1_L1

    extra_1_L2

You can't rename the parent anything else or it won't work. Extra's 1-9 should be recognized by ELS. Anything above 1-9 will be a steady burn if their texture is set to emissive.

Thanks for the help, it kind of works. In game it looks kind of funky, only like the blue part flashes, not the red. If i change the light pattern its blue and red but its a bit funky and doesnt match with the light bar pattern. This is my Light bar and dashlight thing here bf487343b5477d8c87837237e926ba4d.png.

Also, if I wanted to add more lights, like ions, direction bar or something - Would I need to attach extras?

Edit: here's how lightpattern 1 looks http://gyazo.com/22d62fa7f31ec98adf18832d29be2fdd

You would have to attach extras. Is the blue LED in the dashlight missing?

The blue LED is in 0850856637a2e733edaa31d4bab7d83a.png

Also, is there a video tut on attaching extras?

The "error export line" occurs when you name multiple things in your hierarchy the same. Side note: make sure that after you attach all of the extra's, you make copies and add this to the end: "_L1" (LOD) and "_L2" (It is how the lights will look when you get far enough). And go to modify>attach> and then click on the "extra_1" from the dash light and then click on the one from the light bar (it helps to disable the other parts).
