Ok I have been trying to get my GTA 4 to work with this mod for the past four days IDK what I am doing wrong I just downloaded the up to date one tonight and when I try to play it after I install it with xlive it gets to where it says starting new game and then the game crashes for some reason so I reinstall the whole game and lcpdfr with dsound when I even try to start the game it just crashes before it even loads anything so can anyone help me with this thanks so much for this emergency mod cause I am becoming a real life paramedic so I want to play gta as a cop and all that thanks EMT-IV LIvely

I keep having problems with everything I watched the video I followed everything he said nothing works I even tried running the G17 media IV Diagnostic and that even stops working. I installed the LCPDFR with everything clicked normal where it says xliveness is not recommended so I just left everything alone all that happens is the game crashes and this pops up

Verify that the files/folder are not hidden etc.

How can I do that this is my first tine doing all this

In your Diagnostic it says you have Dsound asi loader. I'm no genius at reading these things but don't instal with Xlive and Dsound. Just one or the other. Try again without Xlive.

Reinstall or find xlive.dll in your main folder and delete.

EDIT : Just seen your second post. ok, well i dont know if installing Xlive to start with leaves some kind of trace behind or not but look in your main folder and make damm sure "xlive.dll" is not in there

Oh, and run game as admin. Right click / run as administarator.

Ok new help I got it running thanks guys but now I got no sound at all can someone help me please thanks

No sound in GTA IV or on your entire computer? Test by watching some videos or playing some music.
