I want to change the ID of the Secondary Lights in the default_config, but it won't work. I set 15 for every light stage , but nothing happens, its still the ID 1.

 

[ SECL ]
Type = leds
DisableAtLstg3 = on
ForcePatForLstg = on
PatId_Lstg1 = 15
PatId_Lstg2 = 15
PatId_Lstg3 = 15

Use a 3rd party els program like "EMERGHUE" It has an easy to use interface, and lets you change light colors with a Color Wheel (Hex Compatible). As far as I know it is only for ELS 7 right now, but thats what most people use. The thing I love about eHue is that you can put your (eg:Police.wtd and Police.wft) in and you can see the light patterns, and edit them from the interface, as well as update them. Try it out..

Go to GTA IV Root.

Open ELS FOLDER

Open the config file for the car you want to turn SECL on.

 

Go towards bottom and turn on Extras

Extra_7 = on

Extra_8 = on

Extra_9 = on

Those are the SECL (Secondary) lights, they might be turned off.

Maybe by disabling DisableAtLstg3 will make secondary lights to work with that pattern ID?

No. That just means they will turn off when Light stage 3 is active.

Is the vehicle you're using, using the default_config, or did you create another config file, like you're supposed to when adding a vehicle to ELSv8?

What I mean is; If you're trying to get the SECL lights working for FBI, then you need a fbi config file.
