i really enjoy playing lcpdfr, but els is starting to piss me the fuck off. im so close to cracking my gta 4 disk. i cant get els to work correctly, and im very confused at how to even use it. i only have problems with els v7 and els v8. any els version before that worked perfectly fine. id prefer to use els v8 because of the improvements that are in it. please help, im just about done with gta altogether.

Missing DirectX

DirectX usually comes with the latest windows patch but if you do happen to be missing it you can get it from here.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113

 

Missing .net Framework 4.5

One of the most important dependencies, why? Because LCPDFR runs on it.

Missing System Dependencies

These are the microsoft redistributables, bothe 2010 and 2012 are required.

When it prompts you to select a file, always make sure to use the x86 one, even when you’re running a 64-bit OS.

i dont even know how to open the interface for starters. and when i figure something out, i have to hold down a key in order for the siren to work. then the siren comes on, but the lights remain off. its so confusing, i try to open the readme file, and i get a completely different error. i only get the error when i try to open the els v8 or els v7 readme file. any other readme works fine.

j key should control the light alt-m brings up els modes

for the user guide you need a pdf reader, and as for the controls, J turns on the lights (press 3 times for the full christmas tree) and ctrl+m opens the menu. please note that, when on duty, this also calls an ambulance so don't use in the middle of the road.
