ELS v8 Problem

Featured Replies

I recently just got LCPDFR and ELS for my game. i looked up a tutorial video on how to install all of that to my game. After I did that, i went to see if my LCPDFR would work (which it did) and also seen if my ELS would work (which it didn't). I did all of the controls to get the lights working and I got nothing. everytime I'd get into the car, the lights on the lightbar would go solid. I've tried a lot of steps to see if it would work or not and neither steps did. So if anyone would help me with this, I'd gradually appreciate it.(:

There should have been a yellow folder in the ELS.zip or .rar that contains the config files and the _SLOTCONTROL config file. My friend's ELS 8 didn't work for him either and it was that he didn't have all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. My friend had 2005-2010 and after he installed 2012, ELS 8 worked for him. See which years of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables you have.

Go into your ELS Folder and it will say SLOT_Control. Their will be a status for all sorts of vehicles and by it it will say On or Off, if it says off just make it say on and it will work.
