LCPDFR 1.0b crashes

Featured Replies

my game crashes after 5 minutes of gaming I've reinstalled GTA IV with ELS and 1 modified police car and crashes again looked at everything my patch my script hook is there no ENB no textures no trainer etc.

I've removed the ELS and my modified car  and it crashes again since this mod only supports unmodded 1.0.7.0 version of the game (which I've got)

my system specs

i5 3570k @3.5ghz

GTX 680 2GB

8GB RAM@ 2133mhz

GTA IV installed on 120gb Samsung SSD (840 series)

going to attach my lcpdfr log and advanced hook log

I'm not expecting this mod to run flawlessly since this mod version is fairly new but its completely unplayable and I've got a beefy system.

Thanks

A.J

Please first download the manual installer for 1.0b and put the missing audio files into where they belong as some of them are missing as evident by your lcpdfr.log and also your advancedhook.log error is basically caused by a script accessing memory and then dep(data execution prevention) stopping it. please for your advancedhook.log error delete the advancedhookinit.asi in your root gta iv directory and then put your taser files in manually as shown in this topic: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and then after you are done with that please try your game and see if it works as I had the same error code you had and it was said in another topic that the advancedhookinit.asi was causing gta iv to crash because it was trying to access memory where it shouldn't.

My plugins by me are on this site in addition to my own site as well.

its now stable but it crashes when I exit the game with fatal error out of memory please reboot your system

if fixing it as I type

fixed the error message but still crashes whenever I pull someone over.

ok it crashes when you pull someone over?

could you please post fresh logs so I can see what other errors would be causing this?

and please also go into your bios and disable execute disable bit(nx) and see if dep is disabled in windows when you boot back up and also if it is disabled and you disabled the option I told you to in the bios try it again and see if doesn't crash again as if it is another c00005 error it definitely is related to dep and it thinking gta iv is accessing memory where it shouldn't and disabling it in the bios and checking it in windows will help.

whenever I do an action it crashes

here are my logs

I've know the Data Execution Prevention was an issue with GTA IV when it is disabled on my old rig  computer was attacked  when a hacker took control of my computer (windows XP 4 years ago) I am not disabling it again (oh the horror haunts me again!). How ever I'm going to try excluding GTA IV from DEP protection instead of disabling it all together.

 but here are the logs

UPDATE

when trying to run GTA IV it says GTA IV must run with DEP enabled you cannot turn DEP off for this

ok well instead of dep please just put the launchGTAIV.exe in the dep exclusion list, and also delete or move advancedhookinit.asi to your desktop or somewhere out of the gta iv folder and see if it fixes some of your issues.
