I love the look of the grill and headlights!

  • My definition of the "European-look" is the kind of futuristic and slim look, I just don't really like it. It's that kind of modern look I just don't like. It's the front and the back of the new Taho

I'm sorry, but I think they made the Tahoe look ugly. I never expected the Tahoe to look more like a box than it already did, guess I was wrong.

Same goes for a lot of nice vehicles, the new "European-look" as I like to call it, which also just ruins the cars. Just look at the new Charger, that thing is just... They've ruined it.

Anyways, that's just my opinion and everyone's entitled to their own.

Agh, I think the '15 Tahoe is so ugly. To me, it appears Chevy decided to rip off one of the Ford SUVs and change it a little bit.

I slightly like the front, but the car overall is just not what I like to see.

Define 'European-look'? ;)

In the USA they use cars that most europeans have and will never see in their life. And the car's are also used for different purposes. Our law enforcement in Europe is mostly a big helpdesk for the general population, and then they focus on crime. In the USA with the zero-tolerance policies and such, i'm pretty sure they only focus on crime. (as it should be)

And yes, this tahoe is just butt-ugly in my eyes.

It's the front and the back of the new Tahoe which I really hate. I just don't like it, it's like they took a cardboard box and tried to make it look like a modern PPV. That's not going to work in my opinion.

Looks like a rip off from Cadillac Escalade, Ford Expedition, and Declasse Granger (The body shape), then add the Chevrolet Logo at the front and back. DONE!

But the 2015 looks good and I am ready with a zombie apocalypse with this car

Way too expensive, after taxes one of these would run tax payers $51629.25 BEFORE any lighting, which takes around 20 hours to do so..

Truck: $51629.25

Whelen Liberty: $1700.00

Siren: $300.00

6 Whelen Vertex: $100.00 each

Wig Wag System: $300.00

Rambar $900.00 give or take with $150.00 lighting option & wrap around option

Console: $350.00

Switch Box- $400.00

Emergency Vehicle Technician Labour: $4000.00-$5000.00

NONE of this even includes all the little features inside the vehicles, like the little button that can take the key out while it's running, partition, computer, special programs

$60329.25 for a vehicle they will use for 2-3 years and auction it off or destroy it, SO not worth it.

One big thing that nobody has mentioned, is that most agencies have already either bought or decided upon their future fleet. Leaving very little room for this Tahoe. I think that this is about a year and a half late and should have been introduced with the Caprice.

~snip . I think that this is about a year and a half late and should have been introduced with the Charger.

Or the Caprice...since Caprice is made by Chevy.

You also have to remember that all of those prices are retail, not under a government contract.

I doubt they are just going to 'give" the vehicles away, my buddy is an Emergency Vehicle Technician, does the RCMP cars around here & he makes close to $20/Hr That's just to him.

I know they don't "give" then away but the government isn't going to pay retail.

For the vehicle no, upfit, most likely, some of the equipment they get at discounted prices though, Whelen Vertex the RCMP pay $50.00/ vertex.

Wouldn't really make sense to give discounts to the government when that's what EVT's are there for.
