LCPDFR 1.0 Crashing

Featured Replies

My lcpdfr always crashes about 20 minutes into gameplay. I notice that my game usually crashes when calling in a pursuit, or anytime during a traffic stop. Below I've listed some "Key" information about my GTA 4 files. I've also uploaded my LCPDFR file thingy.

  • I use all vanilla vehicles
  • The only ped modification I have installed is the "Higher Res Cop Texture" mod, by Exo 401 (?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>)'>?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>)
  • do have a modded siren installed, but I forgot to backup my original. I want it gone, but can't find the original file
  • I use trainer, and have custom time and weather settings saved to it
  • I have only completed the first mission and walked outside in the GTA 4 story
  • I use a commandline, -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict -noprecache
  • I have the "Less Overtaking" mod installed (http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/less-overtaking-f15306)
  • I have the "Taxi Pickup" mod installed, letting you request a Taxi for an AI
  • I have both vdH Police Helper, and vdH Tow Service mods installed
  • I did manually install lcpdfr 1.0
  • I have Callouts+ and Wouters Callouts installed, both are the latest versions
  • I have done everything that is usually listed initially by support

Hmm similar stuffs happened to me, Opening vdH policehelper.ini and changing these values to '0' like so--

TrafficEventsTimeout = 0

// Set timeout for creating traffic events (speeders will be created 2x more often).
// Set it to 0 to turn off traffic events.

WorldEventsTimeout = 0
// Set timeout for creating world events. Set it to 0 to turn off world events.

Stopped a lot of crashing for me, the only other thing you have there that I don't is pretty much the taxi pickup and the siren. I used a custom siren mod on here once but it kept crashing my game. (On startup though)

Also, some callouts tend to crash my game after a little while of playing

Same with me. Hopefully someone with an immense amount of knowledge for this type of thing can help us out. I'll try settings the events to 0 and see if that helps. I never got this issue with 0.95. But with new content, bugs and problems are a given. I don't blame lcpdfr, I blame Rockstar for their horrible port over to PC.
