Crashes 10-20 Seconds after game starts

First off I have done all of these:

 

  • ZA001117940.gif Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks
  • ZA001117940.gif Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues
  • ZA001117940.gif Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • ZA001117940.gif Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • ZA001117940.gif Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • ZA001117940.gif Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • ZA001117940.gif Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • ZA001117940.gif Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • ZA001117940.gif Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012

Every time I start the game it loads fine and then maybe 5-20 seconds in it will stop responding for no apparent reason. The game works fine without LCPDFR 1.0b.

Any help would be nice, I have tried a lot of various things like the dsound instead of xlive etc. I think it might have to do with a network connection but I have tried it without internet on and with it off. I tried linking my account to the settings but I get a 502 gateway error after clicking "verify" despite all servers of LCPDFR being up. Also it crashes whether or not I am on duty or not.

 

 

My specs are Windows 8 with a 2.80ghz i7 and 16gb Ram and 64 bit Opearting system.


Sorry to double post but I wanted it noticed. I couldn't figure out how to mark this resolved but I got my issued fixed by deleting left over ELS files...

    from what I see, it seems in your scripthook.log it says els warning some els specific message and then it says the police slot that is causing the issue: POLICE

    what I would recommend trying is to remove whatever model in the police slot and leave it with default car in police slot and then go into game and see if it crashes then as I can tell just from that log that, the car mod you are using in police slot is causing your issue, and try my suggestions and see if they work, otherwise if they don't work please respond back and I will try to help you(also before you start the game with the default car in police slot please delete all of your old logs as it helps me not to have to go through the old log searching for the new information, and helps with finding the issue faster.)

    Any help would be nice, I have tried a lot of various things like the dsound instead of xlive etc. I think it might have to do with a network connection but I have tried it without internet on and with it off. I tried linking my account to the settings but I get a 502 gateway error after clicking "verify" despite all servers of LCPDFR being up. Also it crashes whether or not I am on duty or not.

     

     

    My specs are Windows 8 with a 2.80ghz i7 and 16gb Ram and 64 bit Opearting system.


    Sorry to double post but I wanted it noticed. I couldn't figure out how to mark this resolved but I got my issued fixed by deleting left over ELS files...

     

    My plugins by me are on this site in addition to my own site as well.
