yea im tryin to add an extra vehicle, i saw/read tht u can add a police3 but idk how or if i need any extra tools or if i can just use spark

Well, that didn't really help. BUT, you can either have TBOGT; download a car pack for TBOGT (That includes a TBOGT vehicles.img), and replace it with the regular .img, or export the few cars; or download a motorcycle/extra car from GTAPOLICEMODS. Sorry, that's all I can come up with.

Not sure if it lets you add more, Rather, GTA IV: TBOGT Has like 3 extra and even like 4 (not really sure) extra police vheicles, Such as a police MARKED charger, The stinger, Police bike, And a APC, that's all I can think of at this moment.

i just want this charger and maybe a bike maybe harper knows hes on the testing team

There are two motorcycles I know of that come with model and a "newviehicle.img -handling and a few other files you instal like carcols.dat etc.

This puts a harley police bike into "policeb". You have to use trainer to spawn it once installed.

Can't recal where I got it from but a google search of gtaiv police motorcycle should bring something up.

No idea about the other police cars etc.

I still have the file, but I will see if i can find the origional link.

Thought I'd bump this as I'm having a similar issue. I just added polcie4 (the stinger) from my TBOGT to my regular GTA IV game that I have LCPDFR installed on. I've followed this tutorial http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=420911 to add the vehicle but I haven't found a way to have it recognised as a police vehicle yet (to have sirens, to use the police computer).

Is this even possible at all or should I just install LCPDFR over my TBOGT as well?

Guys you can add extra vehicles to GTA4 very easily...!!!!

Check this mod out which provides all the TBOGT vehicles to GTAIV..!!! I am using this currently..!!

And more over if you want the police3 and police4 to spawn ingame you can try editing the cargrp.dat file under commondata

This is default line

police, police2, polpatriot, noose, predator, pstockade, nstockade, fbi # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS

This is what I changed to

police, police2, polpatriot, noose, predator, pstockade, nstockade, fbi, police3 # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS

Now I get the police3 along random police vehicles...!!!

@edit: When I added policeb to the line, the game crashes and I dont know if this happens only to me.

Sirens work as usual, but you wont be able to access the police computer(it is the only drawback). But it gives a good variety of cars, which dont spawn normally.

Hm well I want police4 to be functional in a pursuit so i'm not sure if that requires the computer or not
