I've noticed recently that my game tends to crash more than most people. I have ELS, which i know causes crashes, but I've seen that most people can go a good 10-15 minutes before a crash, mine is lucky if it goes 5 minutes. i have dashcam v2, els v6, LCPDFR .95 beta 1, and a couple of car mods. My game crashes when ever a suspect runs from me and i get in a pursuit, when ever i call for noose backup (not that big of an issue) and when I get the "sometimes you may encounter random street events..." message. Any ideas on how to stop some of the crashes?

Your using .95 Beta 1 Which was pretty unstable, Theres a newer version of LCPDFR out, Called LCPDFR .95 RC1, Check the download section, Install, enjoy! (Btw you should expect very little crashes on GTA Iv after updating to the newest version, But OTHER mods might cause crashing and not LCPDFR its self.)

Change the DSOUND.dll to xliveless.dll . work perfect. :sleep:

The issue most likely stems from ELS. The only solutions are to not have ELS-enabled police and police2 slots, and dont call for backup that uses ELS. LCPDFR and ELS don't really know how to work with eachother, and this causes a lot of crashes.

As stated above, try it without the car mods. They don't work too well with LCPDFR.

Use LCPDFR 0.95 RC1 (Fixed)

turns out it was mostly the fact that i was running beta. (i thought it was the latest version ;)) i've gone 15 minutes without a crash. i can call noose without a crash, updating fixed all, if not most of the prob, thnx.
