I dont think china people trust their police. their reliability of police is 59

I remember reading somewhere that Singapore Police have quite a number of corrupt cops.
One cop I think did some robberies. Also the unlawful use of their on duty weapons.
 

 

 

Ya there was a case of 40-100 plus officer from various investigation branch in the C.I.D was Caught being bribe by 1 Bookmaking Boss. who is call ah long san . after this incident , the Police vow to have zero tolerance to corrupt. although there are some bad sheeps of the force. Which i believe , every big organisation , there is some bad sheeps that will spoil the police image.

Eat at Public places in Uniform. they are request to take-away and eat at the division or police places

Not allow to Have tattoo on them

Not Allow to have colour hair

You obviously didn't get my joke. When people in china say bad things they vanish. Where they go? No one knows.

Some cops do abuse their powers, I see it when I work with other agencies. I depends on the type of officer/deputy and the people they deal with. It is unfortunate that some people act the way that they do but I can see how officers/deputies get bitter against everyone because people do not respect authority the way they used to. People also get away with acting they way that they do so they continue their behavior. In 1 night I had 4 separate cars run from me because they know they can and we can't chase them..... I think it is instances like that that cause some officers to act the way they do. Not saying I agree with their actions because I don't in the slightest, but I just see how people can get pushed over the edge. 

I think US police is ranked 24 out of 148 not bad for a big country. I think it was media in US make people to lose trust in police and their competence/capability

Policing will only be a respectable job only if the police officers (deputy sheriffs, etc...) treat the public with respect and do not abuse their position of trust.

Just out of interest, what place/rank does the Swedish police have on that reliability list?

It all goes to the personality, and not the whole department.

You can always see a LEO taking a civilian's life as a priority over his, and on the other hand you will see one who is misusing his baton when not needed. The conclusion would be that you can't take one problem to a whole department, personalities also affect.
