Hey guys, I'm trying to make els versions of gta 5 cars and I'm having trouble with the skins. Is it ok if I rip stuff from skylinegtrfreak's skin like the numbers and extra stickers and put it on the model I'm working with if I credit him properly. Or do I have to make the stuff on my own?

 

*Bonus question: where can I find a tutorial to make els lights cuz I don't think people would want a whelen liberty on a second gen Buffalo?

I'm sure it would be okay as long as you credit him but just to be safe side I would PM him and make sure.

I know he is part of the community, but I wanted to ask the rest of the community before I pm'd SkylineGTRFreak. It says he hasn't been on in a week so I wanted to ask everyone else, just to make sure it was ok to proceed.

I wouldn't just rip it and credit him. Before taking other people's work and, in this case, adding it to your own project that you plan releasing, always ask for permission first.

 

HOWEVER; in this particular case, those liveries are solely created by Rockstar. If it were me, I would still credit him for being able to convert them to IV.

I'd credit Rockstar Games too, since they are the original authors.

It's never a bad idea to ask for permission if you're not sure (unless they have something like "don't PM me asking for permission to use my skins" on their profile).
