So, I just bought Xbox 360 wire for PC, my xbox 360 controller is wireless, I have the usb wire to plug in my controller to PC. I installed the driver, I tried everything to fix this issue. But nothing helps. I'm on Windows 8. I looked up on every website about "XBOX 360 Wireless Controller via Play & Charge Kit" windows 8, but all I see that play kit won't work with windows 8... So I wasted $30? Posted here thought any of you could help me.

    Play & Charge kit has no interface in it, it's just passing USB power. ;) You're probably turning your Xbox on when plugging your remote through your computer's USB because it powers on. :)
