Series of Earthquakes in Southern California

Featured Replies

Recently, there have been a string of unexpected earthquakes in the So Cal area, especially in Orange County. The earthquake measuring a magnitude of 5.1 in La Habra was felt all the way down in Mission Viejo, and as far north as the northern neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

As well as having the one measuring 5.1, there has been an earthquake measuring 3.6 in La Habra, a 2.9 in Brea, a 2.7 in Brea and one aftershock. I felt all of them, however, all seems to be okay in Irvine.

I'll update you guys some more soon.

SCNG FTW!!

Yeap! Actually, I lived abroad due to my father's field of work, so I hadn't felt earthquakes all that much. This was definitely the worst one so far. My entire desk was shaking uncontrollably, and it has a lot of old memories on it, so I'm glad those didn't shatter.
