LCPDFR wont run

Featured Replies

Hey,

Just downloaded it. 1.0b. Installed it several times. Been thorugh a lot of your guides.

I have run the diagnostics tool. Not picked anything up. Changed a few settings too as described in some of the guides.

I dont have any log files. When the diagnostics tool tries to get them it crashes.

My .net Framework  version is higher than 4.5 does that make a difference?

All the files are in the correct directories too.

Any ideas?

What exactly is your problem? Can you not start LCPDFR with Alt+P? Will gta not launch?

The diagnostic tool logfile thing seems to happen to me as well, Its not necessary because your game will drop LCPDFR.log after your game closes (if you launched the script.)

Make sure your diagnostic tools path is set to the correct .ini (for me it automatic went to EFLC, I had to use advanced mode and set it manually.)

Did you use the autoinstaller or manual? Every folder/file goes in the MAIN directory BESIDES LCPDFR loader.net.dll (which should be in your scripts.) LCPDFR folder and all the others/files should be in your main.

Make sure theres an lcpdfr folder in PC, and post a screenshot of your LCPDFR folder in your main directory (the contents inside.)

can you launch the game at all? or are you just asking if its set up correctly before you try.

All I can do is log in to the social club and then it doesnt do anything else... just crashes.

The diagnostics tool is set to the correct path.

Not sure what you mean about ALT+P just makes a noise on my keyboard and opens up properties...

I tried the auto installer and manual.

Hello,

have you tried ticking the "Advanced Mode" checkbox in the diagnostics tool and then manually browse for your game installation and when checking your installation? Also you seem to be missing DirectX since you have ScriptHookDotNet.log. Get it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

see :LMS's reply.

also by ALT+P, Thats the key to start LCPDFR. I didnt know you couldnt even load up the game.

If you don't plan on using social club/multiplayer, use xlive.dll ASI loader instead of dsound.dll, Its more stable and it takes away social club being required to login, which could trigger your crash.
