HTML CSS And So On

Featured Replies

Hey LCPDFR

Do any of you know about HTML and CSS? someone gotto know all about it, many people have created sites for a living (well Build it). I just want someone to build an basic layout witch will only take you around 10 minutes of your time.

I want you to creat (in Notepad) and basic "div" layout, I'm doing this kind of work and never use or how to use div with CSS.. this very simple request. If you take the request then read and look at the images below for some examples of what I want.

I just wanted to look like how Enjin sites are.. Where the heading and the links with the footer located

Another sample.. Images

Nothing is gonna be better than doing the website yourself... there are free software out there not to mention torrents but if you want something perfect learn how to code yourself... I learned for free at codeacademy.com

If you already have access to a server then Content Management Systems like WordPress, Drupal or Joomla! (wouldn't recommend this one though) might interest you.

They're very customizable, easy to set up and use, and more importantly, you don't even have to know how to code.

I screw around with IPB a lot with hooks and other skin templates. It's really good just to start editing a few things here and there so then when you start to move onto bigger things, it's not as stressful. That's what I find the easiest in my opinion.

Mess around with the "Inspect Element" function on most browsers to see how websites do their thing.

I look at it from time to time, but most of it is that alien language known as Javascript.

The best way is to learn how to code HTML, and CSS, they are probably the easiest languages to learn, it would only takes you up to 3 days to learn it. this way, you can really make something you want (Nothing is gonna be better than doing it by  yourself).

Now, if you really don't want to, here are a few ways to get what you want:

1) press CTRL+U on a website (if you are on Firefox), then try and locate the part of the code (both CSS, and HTML), that was used to make the div / class you liked, and then copy it (not fair to the author of the original code though) ; (to get the CSS code, search "<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"" in the code)

2) there are a lot of free CSS design available, just google it: https://www.google.fr/#q=free+design+css  here are some results:
