if you've signed in, then you're done. It means you have installed it and it works. You ARE signed into windows LIVE right? not anything else? If so, then you have successfully installed it. What do you mean by fixing the update thingy? You'll need to be more specific. If you're talking about the setup, there is no need for fixing. The setup.exe is completely fine,

When i go to GTA IV, click "Play" Then go to LIVE, and hit "Connect to live" or whatever is it, the update thing pops up. I cannot sign into live.

Why can't you update? Are you running a cracked version of the game? 

If the update thing pops up, just update it.

I bought the game off steam. And im able to play LCPDFR.. kinda.. so it cant be cracked. Also, I CANNOT UPDATE IT as my previous posts kinda seem obvious that i cannot..  And my game is v1.0.7.0.. so im good there.

You are able to play lcpdfr... kinda.... then just go with it. Maybe this crashing problem is normal for your computer. List your specs here.

Well do you not see that i cannot sign into live, therefor i cannot save any of my gameplay? That is now my problem also

What do you mean you can't save without signing into live? The game has a singleplayer mode and multiplayer mode. The LCPDFR you are attempting to install is for singleplayer right? If so, then you have no use for windows live. If you want to stop windows live from appearing, use xlive.dll by dragging it into your gtaiv directory. xlive.dll is provided by the manual installation of LCPDFR 1.0. It should be in the folder named "LCPDFR Install (ASI loaders)"

Sorry for posting Hello twice, i meant to post it once, and say what i was going to say, but it did random stuff, so i just edited it. Also, how do i save the game without signing into LIVE? And, i have the 4 files, where do i put those files to make sure i have v1.0.7.0?

You run the exe and you go to your bed to save the game... Did you use the asi loader I told you to use called "xlive.dll" to get rid of LIVE?

I cant save the game, it says i need to sign into live...

Also, i cant run the exe?

I SAID I HAVE 4 FILES IN A FOLDER THAT POPPED UP WHEN I DOWNLOADED IT. What do i do now?!

And i dont have the ASI folder in my GTA directory. I would love to know how to make sure/install v1.0.7.0

You need to listen. 

 

1. Saving a game in singleplayer requires you to go to your safehouse and sleep

2. To completely disable LIVE, use xlive.dll provided by LCPDFR manunal installation. You ask, "Why do I need to do this?" Because I don't know what issue you are having about saving a game in SINGLEPLAYER. THERE IS NO NEED TO SAVE IN MULTIPLAYER. 

3. Yes there are 4 files in the download, you need to RUN THE UPDATETITLE 

4. You don't have the asi in your gta directory BECAUSE IT IS IN THE LCPDFR MANUAL INSTALLATION download. 

Ok, ok, chill out now. Im trying it now, ill let you know if it works.

I have downloaded everything, and when i go on, it says something like "Something REALLY BAD happened to LCPDFR that caused it to shut down. Please check your logs". How do i check my logs and how do i fix this?

Logs are checked through the diagnostic tool found in the LCPDFR folder 

Ok, well i got it to fix, and i have played it for a little while, with LCPDFR, and police cars and all that stuff. I have recently just installed/uninstalled the trainer, cuz i thought it would be cool but its not, and now, i cannot even get on without it crashing. Before it gets to the "Play" screen it crashes.

Here is a problem i am receiving after redownloading the game:

Also, its in the "Downloading" section of steam, not in the actual folder.

HOW do i fix this? Please help me.
