AI just stands around?!

Hello to LCPDFR developers:

I got LCPDFR 1.0a and love it a lot! NICE WORK GUYS, REALLY I MEAN IT! But I think the AI cops should be respected as well! By that I mean, I never see people pulling over for AI cruisers/ambulances and AI cops never do anything on their own. I know this because I follow the AI police cars as backup and they just stop at a random point, get out, start walking and one person go get the cruiser and they drive away! Could you guys improve on that! Thank you very much, also, is there any other speech for the megaphone when you pull over vehicles?

Yes I do sir, I use ALPR, indicator, IVDashcamV2, LessOvertake, Bravehearts' Policing, spotlight, traffic flow, vdH_PoliceHelper and vdH towService. So quite a lot. What I mean is I saw a police vehicle with lights and sirens, I turn my on and follow him as a backup, he stops, get out, I take the cruiser just in case. After a while, they put their guns into its holster and drives off. I never see a traffic stop before, but I've seen and joined two pursuits, one from callout, the other just pick up in the street to assist a lone officer. Also, I can't call in pursuit when responding to drunk or reckless driver from policing script.

TrafficFlow spawns random police, EMS and firetrucks around the city. They're not a part of LCPDFR. So I am not sure what the LCPDFR dev team should 'fix' with that seperate script? ( I am aware that Sam made it, but it is a standalone script from LCPDFR).

Sorry, what do you mean by that? Here's my PC Specs:

Processor: Intel® Core i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60 GHz

Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce (not sure what exactly:D)

Operating System: Windows 8 64-Bit x64 based processor

And what setting should I use to get variation of traffic without the scripts.

Try to create a file called commandline.txt in your GTA IV directory and enter the following contents:

-novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

That may increase performance.

If you're using really high poly mods or map mods, I do not recommend -nomemrestrict unless you have a high-end computer.

The computer I use is mid-end, and -nomemrestrict caused the game to eat up all of my computer's RAM, causing some parts of the map not to load.

I did try the commandline.txt and set the view distance, detail distance and vehicle density from 5 to 15, and the textures medium. screen resolution 1600x900 (60GHz). I only used 313/1232 MB of my memory. but after about 20-30 minutes, the game crash, the error code is:

GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Unrecoverable fault- Please restart the game

-842150451 125262096

Any help guys?

Unfortunately, I don't think a lot if any of us here know how to read GTA IV error codes.

The crash could be anything from a bad mod to a script crash.

Have you experienced crashes like this one before adding the commandline.txt? If so, it could be a mod or script that you have. If not, it may be something having to do with an argument you gave commandline.txt.

If this is the first time you've experienced a crash like this, the only recommendation I have is to experiment with the commandline.txt file.
