are the bugs worked out?

Featured Replies

ive been wanting to play the new version of LCPDFR but im worried about crashes and having to figure out the new controls and what not. My comp will barely run the older version, but it works. Are most of you guys getting pretty stable playing experiences with the newest version? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'm not having any crashes that often with LCPDFR 1.0a, just with GTA IV. I can play for several hours, or for as long as I want to with LCPDFR. If your PC cannot run LCPDFR, it's not the LCPDFR mod crashing your computer, it's most likely GTA IV. You'd have to upgrade it.

As for the controls, you can read the INI file. They're also in a forum post by Sam here ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>), or as a PDF document by gtapolicewinthrop here: ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).

Also, with that title it's almost like you're demanding a update. I can tell you that the devs are working hard to make LCPDFR playable for everyone, but the truth is that only a small percentage, less than 1% are having issues with the mod.

I think in most of cases running out of memory is a true reason for crashes. For example you are using a high resource ENB + lcpdfr + other scripts + modded cars. Your VRAM can't stand it so you have to use additional memory from RAM or Cache, which makes a big possibility of game crash.

Wrong installed mods are second reason of crash but that is yet another case.

Well, I've been using 1.0a with only a speed radar mod and a speedometer mod, and a plethora of modded cars (mostly under 3Mb model size), and it has been fairly stable for me. Other than that, I don't have that many issues with crashes.

oh no im not demanding anything.. i just know that when new mods come out there will be bugs -- esp will mods as complex as LCPDFR. I was just wondering since its been out a while if most people are able to play it okay without crashing or having errors a lot.

thanks guys for the replies.. im going to give it a whirl and see how it works out.
