Origin problem

Featured Replies

Hello.

I am having a slight problem with my Origin account, I can't change my e-mail adress (or anything in there) because I haven't verified my current e-mail adress.

The problem is, that my current e-mail adress isn't active, and can't be accessed. EA Support won't help me because they can't verify my identity and I can't answer my security question either.

What should I do?

Can I create a new account and transfer my games over to the new one? Or do I have to buy them again?

Hello, when my mail wasn't verified, I called EA support and they solved it out. I don't think you can make a new account and transfer the games, as EA is dicks about things like that and wants there customers to buy new games if they can't access the old ones.

Yeah, well they still have to verify my identity, so they need the answer to the security question which I don't know.

Did you call EA Support in Sweden or did you mail EA in the U.S?

I called the Swedish customer support, as mailing can take a looooong time to answered. I don't remember what they did as it was about a year ago.

You will probably have to buy the games anew, unless you can prove that you are the owner of that account. EA are dicks in a lot of cases, this isn't one of them. They're just protecting their customers, you don't want anyone unauthorized access your account, do you? That's why it's very important to remember your password and security question.
