Too many push bars! (Support Request)

Featured Replies

I have been looking around at the FPI's and only 1 of them doesn't have a push bar.. too many cars with push bars, so I remember awhile back someone asked about taking the pushbars off of vehicles by just editing the texture files, but I for the life of me can't remember how & which file it is, can someone help me out?

That's a good idea! I wish I could somehow take the push bar off the front of patrol cars. Too many people like to add push bars to their cars, and they also like to add many, many lights. But I am still thankful that there is people out there willing to share their cars that they make.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to do it, but awhile back there were people that released some models with & without push bars in one file, would be cool if they would at least include a texture file to edit the pushbar but as for the lights, I LOVE lights.

I know of a car file on LCPDFR where it allows you to choose which car you want (one with push bar / one without) '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

The rambars I have downloaded use a texture called "rambar_txt".

What part do you have to edit to make them "disappear?"

You'd have to replace the texture with a transparent file like the one attached to this post.

There is nothing there in the attached thumbnail.

For this to work, the pushbar model has to be lacking a texture. If the car isn't designed to work like that (the author almost always says if it is), the pushbar will still appear as a plain color, but without any other textures (logos, different colors).

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.
