Force a 2 door vehicle to a 4-door?

Featured Replies

I need to make a 2-door vehicle act like a 4-door vehicle in game so that I can place suspects in the back. The vehicle actually is a van, but the original developer didn't make it 4-door capable.

Is there any way I can force it to act like a 4 door?

open the vehicles.ide, find the vehicle line your after and put   isvan    at the end of, this should

But if the vehicle doesn't have the dummies for the rear seats I don't think it will work. The game wont know where to put the back seat people and would probably lead to a crash. It has to be correctly setup in zmodeler for that. Like Dashie said, you would probably need a script of some kind, or access to the unlocked model to add the dummies

I have done this with a two door mustang unmarked, just add this to your vehicles.ide  over the one you want to have this option and it should work.

and you don't have issues with crashing? I've never tried it so I can't say for sure but it just seems if the dummies aren't there it wouldn't work (in theory) but I could be wrong

No crashing, i had a few people set it up this way with the fib. Try it out, but like you said idk what vehicle hes trying to do this with! If he could post a link i would try out a few different things in the vehicle.ide and see if i can get the same results.
