Make the "Set ped as wanted" feature toggle-able, and others.
When I set a ped as wanted, which I do quite often, I would like to be able to turn off the wanted status, causing the AIs to stop pointing their weapons at the suspect, stop taunting them, and avoid the AI from arresting them. The last part is key - I just want them there as backup, not to arrest them.. that's what I'm there for. Just a small suggestion, but wanted to throw it out there. Also a few others: Being able to interact with the suspect AFTER they are arrested would be nice, like to ask for ID, and/or frisk them while they are cuffed would not only be useful, but also realistic. Lastly, link the "call for backup" feature with the "Set ped as wanted" would again, not only be useful, but realistic. When you're calling for backup, you obviously have suspicion that the person committed a crime, or has a weapon on them.. so when I call for backup, it would be nice to have the targeted ped automatically set as wanted. Any dev team members reading this: Thanks for this mod. It's pure accomplishment in its richest form.

Force a 2 door vehicle to a 4-door?
I need to make a 2-door vehicle act like a 4-door vehicle in game so that I can place suspects in the back. The vehicle actually is a van, but the original developer didn't make it 4-door capable. Is there any way I can force it to act like a 4 door?

Thanks. At least I'm not the only one.

AI Officers shoot UNARMED suspect when she leaves her car?
Excellent! Thank you very much. Great realism addition to LCPDFR! So many new, cool things in 1.0.

AI Officers shoot UNARMED suspect when she leaves her car?
Interesting. Is there a chance I can get a developer to confirm this?

AI Officers shoot UNARMED suspect when she leaves her car?
I was in a long pursuit. She eventually got out, showed no interest in resisting, and was unarmed... then the AI cops just shot her to death... I also never authorized lethal force. What the hell? Is there a solution to this?

(ELS) Disable default Wail horn in normal siren operation in ELS?
Ok, my apology

Corleone's Modifications
Hi Corleone, I would like to use this as a prisoner transport van, but it seems when I call it as a prisoner transport, the suspect just stands there forever, indicating (I think) there are no back doors to enter the back of the van.. Is this true? Perhaps there is something wrong with my Vehicles.ide line?: pstockade, pstockade, car, PSTOCKADE, PSTOCK, VEH@TRUCK, VEH@TRUCK_LO1_LO1, 100, 999, 0.3241, 0.3241, 0, 2, 1.5 ,1, noboot+big+isvan+avoidturns+truckfirefx+truckenginefx Thanks a lot in advance !

Several suggestions regarding proper LE procedures
-To be able to call for assistance that will actually come over to the suspect that you are questioning. I call for assistance when I am asking someone for their ID/frisking them, and the assistance looks around, then leaves...... C'mon, let's have them actually come over and assist you, or hold the suspect at gunpoint if need be, then you could push a button to have them (not you're partner) arrest the suspect. -To be able to ask for ID and frisk while they are in cuffs. (This was talked about in another topic already) NOTE: There IS a difference between detaining and arresting, this is essential to the understanding of this suggestion. -Have roadblock police NOT shoot at suspect UNLESS the "Toggle Lethal Force" option is authorized. Thanks!

(ELS) Disable default Wail horn in normal siren operation in ELS?
Hi, Long story short, I'm modding a fedsig SS2000 siren for use with LCPDFR and ELS. My idea is to have a normal wail sound during normal siren operation, but when the user wants to manually sound the wail, it will be a rumbler wail siren. I know that you can disable/enable the yelp, al1, and alt2 sirens, but there doesn't seem to be an option in the default_config.ini anywhere to disable the wail? Any ideas? Thanks

"Detain on Foot" does absolutely nothing
^This, exactly. In my reply that disappeared, I explained this in depth. There is a difference between detention and arrest. I really don't need to explain it any further than you said it, but I just wanted to get this out there. Thanks Jay for moving it to suggestions - I would like to see this feature implemented in future versions of this modification, and I'm sure others would like to as well. I know nothing about GTA IV mod coding, but I don't see it being that hard to have the officer frisk animation happen while the ped is still stationary in cuffs - They are independent people doing different things, and there is no ped-ped interaction required.. no? Thanks again, this forum is great.

"Detain on Foot" does absolutely nothing
That's the part that kills me. Of course you can't frisk them or check their ID while they are cuffed, because that defies logic.. lol Don't get me wrong though, big thanks to the dev team. This mod takes up a good portion of my free time ATM. Thanks, seriously. There's just a few minor things I would like to see fixed in order to accurately reflect the way RW law enforcement works. Thanks again for the help guys.

"Detain on Foot" does absolutely nothing
My whole thorough reply was trashed after I pushed the "post" button, and the webpage crashed, sooo I don't feel like writing it all again. Basically; Is there a way I can handcuff them temporarily without placing them under LCPDFR "arrest"? Thx for all the replies.

"Detain on Foot" does absolutely nothing
LCPDFR 1.0: Whenever I would like to detain someone on foot, WITHOUT placing them into my vehicle, I press the "Detain on Foot" option. When I press this option, absolutely nothing happens. Now, I thought maybe the developers did this on purpose to make the player inevitably press E to arrest them. To the general user, this makes sense.. but to someone like me that enjoys the full law simulation experience, I would like to be able to detain someone on foot rather than arresting them. Is this the case with everyone else?
