Change traffic stop, vehicle distance?

Featured Replies

The title may seem confusing, but this is what I mean.

After you initiate a traffic stop, LCPDFR v1.0 (and 1.0a) requires you to get uncomfortably close to the vehicle, before it gives you the "go ahead" or "Exit your vehicle" message. If you park any farther away, and exit your vehicle without first receiving that message, the subject's vehicle will take off on you like you never stopped them in the first place. My question is; is if there is any way to customize/change that distance? In real life (from my own Law Enforcement experience, and talking to many deputies/officers) they will usually not park that close to the stopped vehicle unless the road structure forces them to.

Is there a way to either change the distance to a fixed amount, or to turn it off completely?

i pull up tell it says to exit then i backup alittle and point the drivers side of the car out towards the road alittle for cover from the AI trying to run me over
